Luke 14:28 (ESV): "For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?"
Proverbs 14:23 (NIV): "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty."
Proverbs 16:3 (KJV): "Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established."
"A man without principles is like a ship without a compass; it changes direction with every change of the wind." ~ Samuel Smiles
"You don't always get to choose the hill you die on. Sometimes it's chosen for you." ~ Steven Crowder
TEI considers principle to be far greater than pragmatism. If we can't give it our best, we won't do it. If we do it, expect greatness.
"We should live, act, and say nothing to the injury of anyone. It is not only best as a matter of principle, but it is the path to peace and honor. A true man of honor feels humbled himself when he cannot help humbling others. It is well that war is so terrible, otherwise we should grow too fond of it. " ~ General Robert E. Lee
Respect is paramount in any industry, especially those that work at heights. Not everyone is worth a high level of respect, but we conduct ourselves as, surround ourselves with, and do business with those that are. All Talley Endeavors are taken on with a great deal of respect so that we may receive respect and future business in return.
"Be not simply good; be good for something." ~ Henry David Thoreau
Insofar as our valued principles and respect are able to be fulfilled in conducting business, whatever business we do will be to the best of our ability. We keep our noses clean and constantly look to get our hands dirty.
Look forward to our future Endeavors.
